Reading |

In Reading, children will be focusing on three different skills. Inference & prediction asking and answering questions and writer’s choices. The fiction book that the children will be using will be “My friend Walter.” |
Writing |

In Writing, children will focus on three genres which are description, diary entry and an information text. They will link their writing to the book “My friend Walter.” |
Maths |

In Maths, children are starting off with place value looking at numbers up to 100,000. They will then move on to addition and subtraction using three-digit numbers. |
Science |

In Science, children will be exploring different forces. They will be looking at friction and air resistance and will be conducting different scientific enquiries. |
Geography/ History |

In History, children will be looking at the Tudors. They will exploring all about Henry VIII and will be looking at what sort of ruler he was. |
Art/DT |

In Art, children will be exploring sculpture and 3D. They will learn all about installation art and looking at how to make their art work more creative. |
Music |

In Music, children will be looking at composition and notation by creating their very own piece of music. |
PHSE |

In PSHE, children will be looking at their own rights and responsibilities. They will be also be focusing on rewards and consequences of different actions. |
Computing |

In Computing, children will start with vector drawings. They will be learning how to create different pictures using shapes. |
RE |

In R.E, children will be exploring the concept of prayer in Abrahamic and Dharmic religions, aiming to understand how people of different faiths communicate with God(s) and the divine |

In P.E, children will be learning social and coordination skills through different games. |

In French, children will be learning different phrases linked to the weather. They will also consolidate their learning on days of the weeks and the different months. |
